It was awesome to be part of the 2015 Cayman Cocktail week, which includes seven days of fun & exciting events! We were hired by Jacques Scott, who is the premiere organizer, to photograph the signature creations by Cayman’s best bartenders at the participating bars and restaurants. The week kicked off on Friday with Icoa‘s Shuckling Coktail party, which was inspired by New England fresh shellfish and seafood menus. On Monday Jo Austin, from Jacques Scott, took us on the evolution of the cocktail tour where we stopped at 4 of Cayman’s best cocktail bars such as Prima, The Bistro, Catch and Agua. The next day, Cory from South West Collective, guided us through a gin workshop where we tasted and learned all about gin. On Wednesday, we had a fabulous Ernest Hemingway themed cocktail dinner at Agua. Last but not least, we had a lifetime experience at Kaibo Upstairs luxury bar where we tasted together with Joy Spence, Appleton Estate Master Blender, Appleton’s premium rums from 12 year to 50 year old; the oldest barrel-aged rum in the world. If you didn’t participate in any of these events, you can’t miss them next year!
